This course covers basic principles and practices of project management.
Special emphases are on project planning, scheduling, and control while addressing both the technical and the social aspects of managing business projects.

Class attendance is expected. Each absence (for whatever reasons) beyond two allowable absences will result in 1-point reduction from your total course score unless you have a valid, compelling reason.
Late to class (beyond 15 minutes) twice will be counted as 1 absence.
You can earn participation points by: (1) Making contribution in class discussions and (2) Active use of discussion board at LMES. Points will be awarded according to the relevance, quality, and pattern of your contribution. The maximum participation points will be 10 for the course and 1 for each week.
