COURSE SYLLABUS
VISION: The Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU) shall be a University for Sustainable Development. A learning and resource center for the development of leaders and entrepreneurs responsive to appropriate and emerging advance technologies for the sustainable utilization of natural resource of community – centered development within a dynamic and even widening society.
MISSION: The RMTU shall primarily provide instruction, undertake research, extension and provide advanced studies and progressive leadership in agriculture, forestry, engineering, education, arts, sciences, humanities and other fields may be relevant to the development of the province.

VI. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course primarily deals with the Philippine bureaucratic systems, its foundation, concepts, idealism and transition, particularly in the areas of the three pillars of the government. Stress is on the supreme law of the land, its fundamental principles and other significant issues.
VII. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the semester, students should be able to:
Discuss and analyze public issues and questions in a broader view of the complexities of the modern government and politics.
Appreciate and understand the rights and duties of each citizen and how the political system works.
Develop critical thinking of the provisions of the constitution and;
Demonstrate the character of an ethical servant in the civil service.
