In the late periods of the medieval times, towards the ending of the middle ages, an intricate code was enforced for women. It described the behavior requirements of young women and their courters. It gave more of a sense of purpose, like a theme that they should go by. It brought up a form of literature in the medieval times that was really not being spread until this point. They wanted to change the way they were. Ovid, a roman poet, sheltered the ground work for making the idea of "courtly love" acceptable. Then as the man would be wooed by her beauty, he would stalk or worship her from a distance. Then as he can bear no longer, he declares his love for her beauty and tries to sway her, but with notable objection he is ran in with. He does not give up for he makes several attempts in showing he loves her. Then death is soon to approach, as a way of portraying love sickness. He tries to win her heart with pride and kindness. Then they start to court wihtin their secret love. Then days upon days they hide their exixtence from evryone else and start trying to become more and more
