I am very interested in the entry level position that is available in your company. I am currently taking classes at College of The Mainland. My courses, Intro to Process Technology and Safety Health and Environment, have given me a solid foundation over the industry in which I plan to build a career in. I also have an Associates of Science degree from Galveston College. Please accept this application for the Operator position; upon graduation I would welcome the opportunity to work for your Process Facility.
I can offer your company a dedicated employee who is a quick learner, a strong planner, and detailed-oriented. I possess strong leadership, supervisory skills, computer skills, and community service experience. I work well with others and am confident in my ability to make a positive contribution to your company.
I acquired my skills through working as a tutor/mentor for Upward Bound, a college prep program of 50 students focused on Math and Science, and being a supervisor of 25 security officers at The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. I also have volunteered my services for Americorps, a community service program, and Habitat for Humanity. Through this volunteer experience, I acquired great interpersonal skills. I am now able to think quickly and make quick assessments, in order to make appropriate decisions.
What my resume does not reveal is my professional demeanor and dedication. In me you will discover someone who will serve and demonstrate the highest standard of professionalism. I am a hard worker focused on safety which works well in groups, with a background in Math and Science.
