Cpp Report for Motorcycle in Canada
Executive summary

Envy Rides Incorporated is owned by Mr Hessels and he is planning a renovation and an expansion to attract more customers and to keep the image of Envy’s Rides Inc. as high as possible. In order to make this plan possible, Mr Hessels asked for a loan to the Genesis Bank of Canada. He requested a $60.000 long-term loan for a partial renovation for his dealership and for the tattoo extension to his shop. The second is a capital loan of $450.000 for the day-to-day operations of his motorsport recreational dealership.

Envy Rides was a success due to the business talent of Mr Hessels. Because of the growing demand for Envy Rides Mr Hessels invested in Envy Rides Inc. in 2008 with an expansion and a new relocated facility. Now as the economical crisis has struck, Mr Hessels need to invest again to ensure the existence of Envy Rides. Also expanding with a tattoo shop in the Envy Rides facility is a worthy investment, due to the fact that it is not a expensive investment.

The economical crisis struck Envy Rides Inc., in the financial part of this report results show a decreasing line but Envy Rides overall performance are still acceptable. There are also ratio’s that are given in the report, that show an increasing line for example the profit margin.

The future for Envy Rides does not look too bad, even though we advise Envy Rides to find investors for Mr Hessels’ plans to expand the company. The investment will be positive for Envy Rides Inc. and if the economy is more in balance and the plans were executed, we believe that Envy Rides will come out of the crisis the same as they went in. If so, Envy Rides Inc. will be able to return the loan and therefore is a safe investment

This report also includes an economical part that will look into both the global and Canadian economy and how it has developed between 2000 and 2009. It gives an explanation to various aspects in regards to the Canadian economy and how these interfere with each other

Since the 1940’s TMS has been providing small loans to consumers. During that time TMS augmented its business to include the servicing of business loans, business acquisition financing, and commercial real estate loans. In 1946 TMS decided to finance forestry and construction equipment. The decision proved to be very profitable and resulted in TMS’s establishment of Future Growth Inc. (FGI). Consequently FGI also experienced an immense demand for equipment allowing FGI the capability to purchase its own equipment manufacturing company. This allowed FGI to sell, build, and finance its own equipment. For 67 years FGI’s business venture went well (UOP, 2010).…

Following a brief meeting with his senior managers, Doug and his team decided that this 9.5 million dollar loan from the bank is the only way to keep their business alive. They have decided to reverse their current policy of aggressive price drops and easy credit, reduce their administrative, selling and miscellaneous expenses, not acquire any new fixed assets or sell common stock, decrease accounts payable, stop paying dividends, and freeze executive salaries. All this is an attempt to prove to the bank that Sweet Dreams Inc. is taking their financial situation very seriously and that the bank should strongly consider giving SDI the 9.5 million dollar loan.…

Horseshoe Resort was founded in 1963, as a ski and golf resort in Horseshoe Valley of Oro-Medonte, Ontario. Horseshoe is 47 years old now and mainly focuses on providing the ski and golf operations with other typical hotel facilities. The company’s primary customers are ranging from skiers to golf lovers and the families who are aiming to have activity-based vacations. Additionally, its unique location stands out because it was on the southern ridge of a U-shaped valley. So they can make use of the landscape to construct specific facilities like mountain biking and hiking trails. The current financial situation was not well due to the fact that the net income of 2009 was $541,940 and the ratio of profitability was only 2.9%. The private capital from international investors, mainly the United Kingdom, has always played an important part in the development of industrial countries, especially Canada. These investments not only brought money, supplies and equipment to Canada but also mass migration from the investing countries. Canada was and still remains an excellent source of primary products for many migrants and their home countries. Canada served as a primary product producing country connected to an external controller, originally the United Kingdom, but now mainly the United States. This condition has remained unchanged to this day. This philosophy has also remained imbedded in Canadian…

East Coast Yachts has a strong operating cash flow highlighted by strong earnings before interest and taxes of $88,416,000. With the addition of $20,160,000 in depreciation and subtraction of $30,921,000 in taxes, they managed an operating cash flow of $77,654,400. East Coast Yachts appears to be in or approaching a growth mode with their capital spending on fixed assets increasing by $60,000,000 during the fiscal year. However, they made the wise move of reducing the effect of this expenditure with the sale of $6,786,000 of fixed assets already on the books. Further growth is evidenced by the positive net working capital cash flow of $4,670,560, a sign of a growing company. East Coast Yachts is making effective use of their assets; this is demonstrated by their total cash flow generated by assets coming to $19,769,840 during the fiscal year. A positive sign in their cash flow to creditors is their $33,912,000 in debt service, which included the retirement of $22,800,000 in debt. It appears that they covered the cost of their debt service with the proceeds from the sale of long-term debt producing $40,000,000. East Coast Yachts had a large cash flow to stockholders at $53,550,960. They minimized the amount of cash paid to stockholders by issuing new stock producing $30,000,000 in proceeds. The wise cash flow management implemented by East Coast Yachts should be emphasized on their cash flow financial statement.…

A single country may have the ability to produce everything well enough to meet the demands of the population. Certain countries have specialties that they are willing to give another nation for a fair trade. Specifically in Canada despite having harsh winters and short summers, the country is able to provide its population with various tropical fruits. Popular breakfast choices including bananas and oranges would not be available for Canadians if it were not for international trade. International trade has allowed ease in lifestyles by creating competition, enhancing quality of life and attracting investments, which is why Canada should increase international trade.…

Hobby Horse Company Inc. (HH) has a $45 million note payable at the end of September. Financials for the period ending March 31st indicate that the company has suffered a loss for the previous 12 month reporting period and has minimal cash on hand. The management has put all new store construction on hold and has put 15 of the existing 240 stores up for sale. It is not clear if these particular stores are underperforming. The company has expanded rapidly over the past 5 years, increasing the number of stores by over 50% during that period. Net profits during the same period had increased by over 100%, up until the most recent year. A poor Christmas sales season and the opening of new stores have been blamed for the swing to a loss. It should be noted that new store openings in previous years have not negatively impacted profitability. Overall sales are actually up slightly, though sales per store are below historical highs. It is not currently a situation of sharply declining sales as has been seen at K-Mart, Sears and other retailers. The available financials do not provide much insight into administrative or other costs. The significant issues to be resolved include managing cash and appropriate debt terms.…
