SCENE 1

FADE IN:

INT. DARK ROOM – NIGHT

In the middle of the dark table a crystal ball shines. As the camera focuses now the MAGICIAN, magical sounds or Arab music sounds in the background.

MAGICIAN
Welcome to the only place on earth were your wish may come true

The magical and mysterious face of the magician is shown and aluminium sparks spread out for 5 seconds from the magician’s hands. The magician is wearing a purple robe. The camera’s attention goes to “THE DREAMER”, 16 girl.

THE DREAMER
I don’t believe you

MAGICIAN
As you are my last customer I will give you a free ride to your dreams

THE DREAMER
I wish that my dreams come true

MAGICIAN
What kind of dreams?

THE DREAMER
The ones that I sleep with

MAGICIAN
This could be dizzy and crazy, put your finger in this magical ball and ill take you to your dreams

Dreams can be crazy and weird so sit tight we are going into an unusual adventure were your dreams can turn into reality.

After some crazy effects of dislocations and time travelling like passages we reach THE DREAMERS dream or as the MAGICIAN would call it the dream catcher hunt. We must settle in a natural place that looks like paradise with mountains and strange caves. We can put songs that reflect a paradise something like angels. This music needs to be shown when THE DREAMER turns his face and sees the paradise.

MAGICIAN
Welcome to your dreams

Slow-motion like turn of THE DREAMER and a slow zoom caption of the great dream. Song starts.

THE DREAMER
O my holy macaroni, Jesus Christ!!!
What a beauty!
It feels like I am dreaming again

MAGICIAN
To prove that this isn’t a dream but a reality, could you please press hard with your finger to your face?

The dreamer feels the pain and acts surprisingly and jumps with emotion, when his feet go to the ground he steps on a diminutive elephant

THE DREAMER
I didn’t see that must have been an insect

MAGICIAN
Enjoy your new life
The magician disappears. FADE OUT.

My eyes blink open wildly while my chest violently rises up and down, faster than ever. I’ve had this dream so many times it’s almost easier to count the days I haven’t had it. I sit up from my old raggedy mattress, only to find a pool of sweat in the shape of my back…

One early evening right before dusk, they were playing in the forest dressed as magicians with their black gowns and top hats using tree branches for magic wands, and as they waved their wands they saw a very strange shadow. This shadow was also surrounded by very bright light. Suddenly a voice began to speak; Elisa and Elizabeth were shocked and a little scared too. The echoing voice said “by dawn tomorrow you shall have real magic powers for the rest of your life.” The next morning the girls felt very strange but with lots of energy. They felt like they had a long restful night’s sleep and both couldn’t stop wandering about what they had experienced in the forest the night before. Did they wake up with magic powers? Was that voice of the shadow real? A few hours later, the girls went to their special place in the forest and played magic as usual. But there was something different about their game, every time they swirled and waved their hands with their magic wands their hands and arms would sparkle and glow. Elisa and Elizabeth felt thought something was wrong, they were scared thinking what was happening to them. The girls ran desperately back home and locked themselves in their room so grandmother wouldn’t hear them. They stared at each other confused and surprised they couldn’t believe what they had just seen. As the girls stared at each other thy tried waving their arms and hands again and again their hands and arms would glow and sparkle. Shocked to see this, Elisa and…

Dreams are considered to be expressions of the deepest levels and most remote recesses of the human mind (Hall & Castle, 1966) and that they are a record of the past or possibly a portent of the future (Hall & Castle, 1966). They can be both foreboding and welcoming, and are often not a reflection of the waking conscious person we consider ourselves to be.…
