Creamline's ice cream products are indeed delicious, but you won't find them in your favorite supermarket. This is because Creamline's primary distribution system is the network of sari-sari stores scattered all over the country, says Martinez.
As its contribution to nation-building, says Madrid, Creamline has come up the Instant Negosyo concept. For a small amount of money, a sari-sari store owner can be a retailer of Creamline products. All he needs to do is purchase P3,000 worth of ice cream products and Creamline will provide him with a freezer on loan.
"No expense. The only expenditure is putting the product. The content is P3,000. Of course, you must have a store and good location. In a way, we are giving jobs to everyone," says Madrid. This is a good business opportunity for micro-entrepreneurs as well as overseas contract workers looking to start a small enterprise when they get home. For those with bigger capital to spare, Creamline also offers opportunities for dealers (who take care of the retailers' requirements) and distributors (who take care of the dealers' requirements).
Creamline also offers franchises for those who wish to sell direct to consumers via scooping stations. These stations should ideally be located in such high traffic areas as schools, malls, and bus terminals.
Leaving no stone unturned, the company also started sending out ambulant vendors in selected areas. More popularly known as sorbeteros, these vendors sell Creamline's Choco Bulilits, Cream Cones, Cream Bars, and other ice cream products.
Not surprisingly, Creamline has done quite well. The company is now operating nationwide, reaching out of Metro Manila and into Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro, and garnering numerous fans along the way. If production is any indication, it would be good to note that the company has doubled its plant area since it opened its Pampanga manufacturing facility in 2004. In two years, says Martinez, Creamline plans to put up another manufacturing facility so that distribution will be even more efficient.
In the future, Madrid says the company hopes to expand the business, penetrating new markets and developing new products while always giving value for money to their customers. If Creamline Dairy Corporation stays true to its core values of quality, affordability, accessibility, and consistency, then Madrid believes that it would be a truly creamy success.

The Puritans were one of the most radical groups that left England; they were extremely pious and wanted to create a safe haven for themselves to be able to practice their religion, beliefs, and ideals freely. Puritans main reason for immigrating to America was to create their "City Upon a Hill" , since they were persecuted in England for their beliefs, and because they wanted to reform the Anglican church. They didn´t immigrate for economical reasons, like many of their brethren did in the Chesapeake Bay colonies. Puritans instead wanted to create their model Christian society based on the principals of high morality, and strong family and community lives. Puritan society was based on certain morals and principals which enabled the Puritans to successfully establish a colony; these same morals and principals had a profound impact on the New England colonies in a similar way as well.…

The slogan for Marble Slab Creamery is “The freshest ice cream on earth™”. Their high set of standards aims to bring the exquisite taste of fresh-made gourmet ice cream. Although Marble Slab creamery focuses on “freshness” as their main USP, we feel that it is not unique enough as many ice cream brands also offer freshly made ice cream. Moreover, through our survey, we found out that most consumers value novelty and uniqueness in ice-cream brands rather than the freshness (refer to Appendix B). Hence, what truly differentiates Marble Slab Creamery from other ice cream brands is its variety of 40 mix-ins, such as candy and fresh fruit, which they offer with their ice cream.…

Ice Fili have a strong position in the market but their relative differentiation and cost position left them ‘stuck in the middle’ with respect to some regional and multinational firms. It is clear from the financial statements that the years following the crisis of ‘98 took their toll as we see a steady decrease in sales. Ice cream consumption in Russia continues to grow by an average of 3.5% over past two years (2001-2002) indicating a steady market. However, in order to remain competitive in an increasingly competitive market it may now be the time to reassess the current business model and plan strategic direction for the future.…

THE SHOPPE Creamy Creations Ice Cream Shoppe is a small and popular ice cream parlor in a midsized southern city. In 2007, Creamy Creations had been open for almost two years and was gathering a loyal clientele of fami-lies and students from the local community college. Creamy Creations specialized in fancy, individualized ice cream confections. Customers would order their base ice cream ( or frozen yogurt) plus the toppings they wanted to make their own “ creamy creation.” The toppings ranged from the typical ( such as hot fudge, marshmallows, nuts, fruit syrups, and crushed candy bars) to the exotic ( mango fruit chutney, chocolate- covered hazelnuts, and crystallized ginger). Each creamy creation was made start to finish by one of the high school or college students working behind the marble counter. Many customers had a favorite “ creamy creator” and would wait for that person to be available to make a special sundae. In the first eighteen months of the existence of Creamy Creations, it was owned by Bob Peterson, a local retiree who had started the business after thirty years in the military. However, after a year and a half of successful operations, Bob’s wife talked him into selling the ice cream business “ while it’s hot” and buying a motor home to tour the country. Bob sold Creamy Creations to Burger Barn, a local fast- food chain that wanted to expand into other types of food service establishments.…
