1. How might you use the strategies for applying creativity to problems and issues in addressing this topic? I would have to apply the "finding new uses for existing things" for this topic the reason why is because California is planning to shut down its power pants so why not use the energy we have wasted into that plant and put it somewhere else such as local housing or local pants. As for the current spot where the plant sits we can reuse that spot to build a new and better plants that could last for many years and produce better and fast energy. The other creativity process I would have to apply to this topic is "improving things" the reason why is because we have the general idea down for having nuclear plants now if we can come up with a better and more money saving plan we could end up with a faster and more cheaper way to produce energy. Overall I believe these two fits best for the this current topic.
2. How might you use the strategies for promoting curiosity in addressing this topic? Why do you think these strategies might be effective? The strategies I would use to promote curiosity for this current topic would have to be "Ask and Answer Questions," also I would use the "Lose the Assumptions." The reason why these two are the one I choose is because I believe in this article there will be a lot of questions and when people assume things they will have more and more questions. I believe that if the general public were to lose the idea of assuming something then they can start to focus on more of critical thinking. When someone is asking questions then it show that they are showing interest in the topic. For example I wouldn't be asking question if I find the topic boring or if the topic doesn't catch my attention in any way.
