Creative Writing: My Existing Trip To Lake Moogerah
Anna and her Best friend Jess go camping at Lake Moogerah for the weekend. They’ve been best friends since they were about 3 months old as their parents were good friends growing up and the girls are now 15. There bond is stronger than ever now and this camping trip will only bring them closer. As the sun starts to go down Anna and Jess have an argument about who’s having a shower first at the camping grounds. The day had been quiet hot and they were sweaty and exhausted. All they wanted to do was have a shower and relax but they couldn’t do that without arguing.
Jess and Anna had been out riding their bikes all day in the hot blazing sun but had decided to head back to the camp site and get ready for showers. Near their camp site there was only one shower block, but only one cubicle was free so instead of one having a shower and the other waiting they had an argument in front of

“This is probably the best camping trip I’ve had in a long time”, Anna said. The girls went back to the camp site and roasted marshmallows after a long day while laying back under the stars watching the sky. “I feel like I could do this camping trip all over again” Anna claimed. Just laying her looking up at the sky seeing all the stars covering everything. There’s no mosquitos and it’s so silent tonight. Apart from all the mud we stood in today this trip has been amazing, so many memories and photos that we now have together. The fight that we had brought us closer to each other than we already were. I’ll never forget this trip ever. It made me feel like I was free. Except for when I stood in mud walking back from the showers. I don’t know why they didn’t put a mat or wood over it so no one stood in it. Jess promised Anna that they would have a lot of fun and it’ll be the best camping trip and after all the fights it really was the best you could have ever asked

Summertime! The sunshine filters through the verdant lodgepole pine trees towering over our tiny campsite. The aroma of alpine evergreens, crisp mountain air and wispy campfires linger in my memory. Freshly caught trout are frying in the pan, all of which combines to marry the wonder of it all. Our campsite is ten miles east of Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana. This is Duck Lake; a pristine fishing destination nestled in the shadow of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The breathtaking outburst of mountains from the prairies conjures images of nature's own cathedrals. The lake itself lies in a depression created by a mammoth block of ice left behind as the glaciers…

The University of California, Merced’s Men’s Basketball team was so enthusiastic, as well as full of energy that humid Saturday morning as they prepared for an extraordinary adventure at Lake Yosemite. Dr. Boggs, feeling warm-hearted and comforted, appreciated the well-mannered basketball players and cannot wait to get out in the lake. “I have brought my boat out here today so you guys can get the full lake experience, but I need to go over some safety procedures. Yesterday Glenn and I experienced Loon Lake here in Northern California, and man was it a great experience! Loon lake is located in Northern California and is adjacent to the legendary Rubicon Trail. Our day started with meeting at In N Out in Auburn CA at 4:30 a.m.....well I was there at 4:30; Glenn showed up around 4:50 but I can say it was fashionably late, at least as fashionable as a person can be that early in the morning. During my twenty minute wait, surprisingly I wasn't alone at this In N out. There were about three vehicles I spotted while sitting on the trunk of my Toyota Solara drinking my morning coffee as I thought to myself...what good reason could someone have for being at a random In N out at such a random time? Keep in mind…

Roma and Clint Underhill had both had a long day. They were the owners of a successful real estate company in Desert Palm. I come from Charlotte, North Carolina, one of the most up and coming cities in America. My town is a beautiful, flourishing area with a lot to offer to a variety of people. With such diversification, we have not integrated our neighborhoods, schools, or the social scene nearly enough. Communities can become racially prevalent leading to separations in culture and heritage. I can see this in the high schools throughout the area during our football games or competitions which is depriving to everyone involved. Leaving people unaware of their surroundings creates a bubble of ignorance. Mallard creek provides so much culture as it is is zoned for so many areas, however, other schools are not provided the opportunity I am. As the severance continues,…

Early in the fall, several families left York Factory to find food and shelter further inland to the south. Only a handful of trappers and their families chose to remain behind. Food was scarce and the weather uncooperative. All had predicted the weather would change; then, they would bring in plenty of furs to the traders at the fort. This was not to be. Day after day, the winter winds never seemed to stop. Tough times were ahead for the people along the Hudson Bay coast, and this brought fear and anxiety to every dwelling, including that of the Gores, whose friends and relatives already moved elsewhere.…

When you drive through the gates, just keep following the signs.” The woman said. Once we pulled through those gates, I knew that I was home. A girl from my cabin came over to talk to me, “Hi, I’m CC. What’s your name?” I was so excited to be at camp that I stumbled across pronouncing my own name, “My name is S-S-Sayer. Where are you from?” “I live in Charlotte!” CC says, smiling a mega-watt smile. CC and I take the IT bus, a small bus with PVC pipes over the top that spray water on riders on hot days, over to the Near Side, the side with all of the Sea activities, where we would spend most of the activity period at Creative Arts making perler bead bracelets and barrettes. Once those five days were over, I didn’t want to leave, my sister and I were the last ones of our friends to get picked up and we didn’t mind because we never wanted to leave. When we got in the car, we asked our dad if we could go back for the two-week session that would start the following Sunday. Over the school year, CC and I talked on the phone every night. I had her home phone number memorized after about a week. There were some days when we would talk multiple times a day. That’s how I am with camp friends, they’re my best friends, I talk to them all the time but sometimes it gets to the point that I pull away from my friends at…

The morning sunlight, slipping through a thin opening through the tent, reached in to tap my cheeks with a tinge of warmth. Laying on my back, my sleeping bag clinging tight to my Autumn chilled body, I began listening to the glorious melodies of the nearby river singing its way through the valley. Soon I noticed small heaps of leaves that gathered on the top of the mesh roof of my pentagonal shaped tent. Above them, was a spattering of leaves that had just parachuted from their trees, gracefully somersaulting and swaying down to meet its fallen brethren on top of my tent.…

“It was my best friend Amy’s 16th birthday and we had just finished celebrating. Janet, my other friend, needed a ride home. Since I’m not allowed to have anybody else in my navy blue Honda Accord, Amy offered to give Janet a ride in her raspberry red Ford Explorer. Since Janet’s house is a block away from my house, I told Amy to follow me so Janet didn’t have to worry about giving directions. Seeing as she wasn’t too good at doing so anyways. We came upon a stoplight just as it turned yellow. I zipped right on through. It didn’t occur to me that Amy and Janet would have to wait for the light to turn green. As soon as I realized that that was the case, I pulled over to the side of the road to wait. With an open space of dried out weeds to my right and a field of wet, green, grass to my left, I kept my eye on the rearview mirror so I knew when to pull back out in front of them. I don’t know what, but something to my…
