John Fogerty and his brother Tom were raised in Berkely, California. When John was a pre-teen he was going to school studying piano. It was at the age of 12 when he received his first guitar. The following band mates Cook and Clifford met at ‘El Cerrito Junior High.

Doug “Cosmo” Clifford born April 24, 1945 in Palo Alto, California. Is a drummer, joined Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 1995. “Cosmo” and Cook formed the CCR remake band in 1995. Stated anonymous author of Creedence Clearwater Revisited Band Members. Stu Cook Was in the Original CCR band as well, playing the role of electric base. Stu has been apart of the Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame for the last 40 years. John Tristao is CCR’s new lead singer and plays electric guitar.
