We are hearing from our transition nurses in the field that we continue to have problems with Humana recognizing our NPI and location affiliation. We went through an exercise with Humana contracting to insure that all of our provider demographic is loaded into the Humana’s systems back in late Spring. However, if you read below there is a disconnect still happening that is affecting patients transfer. We need to get to the bottom of this as it is causing frustration within our organization, I am sure the hospitals are feeling the residual effects, but more importantly the patients are being adversely affected.…

Before you decide on early decision first ask yourself these questions: Why am I applying early decision? Dear Notre Dame Parents: You, as parents, are the most important and influential people in your children’s lives. You are interested and involved in every aspect of their development, their activities, their academic progress, and in the planning of their futures. Your children also need you to take an active interest in their preparation and planning for college. This handbook will give you the basic information you need to guide and advise your children as they approach the college admission process. It is not designed to provide the answers to all questions or to address the needs of all students. Students should feel free to meet with their counselor. Seniors will be seen during the fall in groups. Individual appointments will be scheduled upon request. It is best to make an appointment with your counselor so that you are assured that he is free when you come to the Guidance Office. Sometimes parents would like to meet their son’s or daughter's counselor in order to help clarify the college application process. Parents are always welcome, but for their convenience, they are also requested to make an appointment. Guidance services are provided through Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 by Mr. Daniel Damweber, the Guidance Counselor for Grades 10th, 11th & 12th; Ms. Paula Staples, the Guidance Counselor for Grade 9; and Mrs. Michelle Vail, the Guidance Secretary. The office is located on the main floor in the school building. The Guidance Office telephone number is (610) 867-7012 and the FAX number is (610) 867-9378. Notre Dame’s website is: www.ndcrusaders.org. INTRODUCTION For the majority of Notre Dame High School students, one of the most important tasks that will occur in the senior year is applying and being accepted by an institution of higher learning. It has been our experience that the earlier one begins the process, the better the…
