In a quick and quiet manner, I left out of the scene, I didn’t want to make my situation worse....
A couple of days later King Creon announced that the body of Polyneices was missing. It clicked, Antigone actually went and stole the body to go bury it, should I say something about to the King, I might get rewarded but if I do I put Antigone on death row. Thoughts like these flooded my head every second. Everyday. Ironically it happens again. I decided on telling King Creon so I snuck in and tried to have a one on one talk with King Creon--hopefully not ending up dead or executed-- and getting a reward. But unfortunately with my luck, decisions, actions, I overheard another important discussion, Although I was in the same situation, the stakes were higher. I would live to tell the story or get captured and await death or get killed trying to escape. I focused in more toward the conversation, they had captured Antigone. Strangely she was accepting every accusation toward her, and she was willing to die for her actions. She was brave, not crazy ; passionate, not
stupid. Haimon and King Creon were discussing punishment, then King Creon made the suggestion. Stoning. Haimon responded saying that it was too cruel of a punishment. King Creon , in shock, said that he was a slave to women. Then the started arguing, Haimon became outraged, thus, stormed out out of the place and told the King he will se him no more. His footsteps echoed throughout the room; he left an imprint on the scene. There was a long and deep silence. I left but i was stopped by guards. I was questioned and was thrown into a prison cell. Now I lie here --feeling my soul escaping with each passing day-- writing this story hoping someone will find this note and retell this story to my family, friends, anyone for that matter...Please
