Crime And Punishment Alienation Essay
Alienation is the state, or experience, of being detached from a gathering, or a movement, to which one ought to have a place or in which one ought to be included. It can cause one to reject loved ones and society. It can also cause a person to feel helpless, hopeless, and even unsafe when interacting with others. Throughout the story Crime and Punishment, alienation is present between three specific characters Raskolinkov, Marmaledov, and Sonya. Pride, alcoholism, and prostitution are all factors that caused this alienation to come about, but redemption came in and saved each character.
