Initial Notification:
Sheriff dispatch received notification at 1550 on July 16, 1953 from Allyson Adele reporting an overturned vehicle in a roadside ditch approximately 5 miles off the highway on County Road 1322-192. Deputy Barber and Deputy Stewart were directed to respond and arrived on scene at 1559. After their preliminary investigation and securing the scene, at the request of Deputy Barber, Coroner Blake Joseph and CSI Hunter Jiles were requested. Deputy Barber’s preliminary investigation revealed that multiple fatal shootings had occurred. For further details of the initial response, refer to Deputy Barber’s report. Scene Description:
Upon arrival at the scene at 1559, I discovered an overturned vehicle near the North side of the road. A large puddle of blood was located approximately 10 ft. from the car. Pictures were taken of the puddle of blood (#47841.01). A search of the immediate area surrounding the puddle of blood turned up pistol ammunition casings. The evidence was bagged (#47841.02).
