During the time of Cristóbal Colón, XV century it was believed that there was only a single road to get to the Asian continent. Cristóbal Colón, as a child, was always interested in the geography, navigation, maps and other aspects that made that Columbus had the curiosity to discover another way to reach the East Indies and find great wealth. The idea of Colon was that, for the same reason that the Earth was round, could become sailing West. He presented his plan to the King of Portugal, but this rejected, saying that it required too.
