With the development of technology, an increasing number of students have start learning from websites instead of textbooks, because students can find relevant information online easier than textbook. However, it seems that textbook might more detailed than website, while the information on the website is wider or more general, even rougher. In the book “ Microeconomics 2nd edition”, Paul Krugman and Robin Wells (2009) aim to enhance students’ specialized knowledge and skills in microeconomics. Likewise, the website (https://www.boundless.com/) established by an American company named Boundless (2011). The purpose of Boundless is contributing students to learn by connecting them with high quality, educational content and tools, promoting students to collaborate with students or educators caused the features of social media. This review will compare both sources in four aspects and suggest which is more useful for students.

First of all, both the book and the website appear to have authority and reliable, Paul Krugman and Robin Wells are main authors of ‘Microeconomics 2e’, Paul Krugman works as a professor, while Robin Wells was a Lecturer and Researcher, both writers worded in Economics at Princeton University. Meanwhile, Boundless Learning is a website founded in 2011 by Ariel Diaz (CEO) who is an entrepreneur with an engineering background. Although this website is youthful, Boundless as an indirect approach to indirectly filter useful knowledge in open and free source for students, in order to bring a better way of studying (Boundless.com, 2011).
