• Describe a situation in which critical and creative thought could have been used for a better outcome. Describe why it is important to think critically and creatively in similar situations.
A good situation that I think critical thinking could have been used for a better outcome would have been with our fore fathers that wrote the Constitution of the United States. If they would have been able to know how people would have been in our world today and how people would be thinking, they would have written the Constitution a little differently to protect it from being changed or altered. We have different thinking today than it was it the past. Sometimes you have to consider how the critical thinking process differs and what has really changed through time. Could the thinking process be the same as it was in the past? We actually have the same problems that we had back then just with more technological advances. People still disagree, have different thoughts and opinions, and people have their rights that they want protected. Our country was founded on certain values which need to be re-established to help people grow. We all need to think about what has made our country change so much and work on straightening it out. It is not hard to figure out.
• Define free will, truth, knowledge, and opinion. Explain how we use them to form thoughts.
Free will is to use the ability to do whatever one wants to or has the ability to do. Truth would be a compilation of facts. Knowledge is
