Topic: The Social Media has changed the Family Relationship. Social media can be defined as a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of Web 2.0, and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content (Kaplan Andreas M., Haenlein Michael,2010). Most people associate social media with positive outcomes, yet this is not always the case. Due to the increase in social media websites, there seems to be a positive correlation between the usages of such media with cyber bullying, online sexual predators, and decrease in face-to-face interaction. The social media can be a positive change for the family relationship. Some of sort people tend to argue the social media can be a positive change for the family relationship. They believe that, social media comes with the negatively influences. The roles of family itself have been neglected. The reason for an individual changes the behaviour negatively because lacking in love and nurturance, being over-invested, unresponsive, angry, and severe disciplinarians (Dr Jim Taylor, 2013).
People spend their childhood learning to be like their parents, and their adolescence learning who they are and how they are different from their parents (Dr Miriam Kaufman, 2006). Likewise, an individual's environment affects the development of personal characteristics as well as the person's behaviour, and an individual's behaviour may change their environment as well as the way the individual thinks or feels (Bandura, 1989). Children are a special audience (Dorr, 1986). Their parents should not allowing them to access the social media without parents permissions.
