Critical Thinking is the process of using reasoning to discern what is true, and what is false. There are other factors in critical thinking that you have to take into consideration like logic, logical fallacies, separating fact form opinion, being fair and open minded, also asking questions not just o yourself but to others. Some other part of critical thinking is uncovering the truth, rationalizing, open to all points of views. When learning about how to become a critical thinker the three most significant things that I learn was about problems and issues, assumptions and most importantly information. I have to say before I took this class I thought problems and issue where the same but that are
to different thinks, they can even turn into each other. Assumption has to be my weakness when it comes to critical thinking because I tend to always assume that people are telling the truth but they are not. Last and I believe to be the most important information, gathering all the facts about the situation before coming up with a solution.
When I started this course I did not know what critical think or what kind of thinker I was, but after figuring out that I was a challenged think I knew what to improve on to make me a better thinker. Now I have to say I’m a practicing thinker I still have a long way to go before I become a master thinker, but since I have taken what I have learn for this course and use it in my everyday life has made me open mind and a better person. The reason that I have moved up in my thinking skill is because of learn what the different elements are of critical thinking, like problems and issue and learn how to address each one differently which has help me not just a home with my husband but at work as well. My goal is to become a master thinker it will take time and hard work but I just use the elements of critical thinking I should not have a problem with developing my thinking skill.
