Critical Thinking Reflection
Receiving a college degree in some aspect does improve the chances of improving your career opportunities. Having that piece of paper saying that you have a bachelor’s degree in a certain field, will definitely make that individual look good and successful. But that is not always the case, I also believe that whether or not u have a college degree, your chances of improving your career opportunities are up there. Companies these days are not only looking at possible candidates with a college degree, but for those who also have the experience to deliver and get the job done. Without a degree, you will most likely move up the career ladder with the knowledge and experience you have, but once you get that degree, in most cases means a higher pay. Which in most cases, is why a lot of individuals go to earn their degree? Then they put both forces together, experience and degree, and move quicker up the ladder than other people. So after observing my problem, going out and earning that college degree will certainly improve your career opportunities. Meaning you will get the job that you always wanted and worked hard for, and showing what you work so hard to get, your college degree.
I can relate to the process of critical thinking because by taking the appropriate critical thinking steps, you get a better understanding of what you want your results to be. Critical thinking is used in other areas; you have to think in and sort out your ideas before making any drastic decision. The steps that I will be taking to ensure I keep using critical thinking in the future is to know what my options are and not make a decision just like that. Think about what is the best and correct choice to make. And exploring other possible outcomes any problem that I might have.
