Having better critical thinking skills, really helped me with the content of this question. I have to really think about the answer to this question. This question wasn’t one of those where you can jump and answer it, you had to really think about it because there are some many answers to this question. The way that I plan to use critical thinking in other areas is to continue to follow the steps with me being a good critical thinker. Being that I was to be a Therapist I have to use critical thinking a lot when it comes down to my patients. I know not want to sit down and not use these skills, when my patient has a problem I want to be able to help them solve the problem that they are currently facing. The first step that I plan to continue to use is the five steps to solving problems, I really need these steps to help me get through my problems because normally I wouldn’t think my problem out before solving it which usually had good and bad effects. So now I realize that I need to use these to help me make better choices when it comes to solving a problem. Another thing is I plan to keep asking questions when someone says something that doesn’t seem right to me.

This article, “The RU-486 Abortion Pill Should Be Available to Women”, was written by Laura Fraser in 2001 for the Greenhaven Press. The issue involved with this article is whether or not the RU-486 abortion pill should be available to women in the U.S.. The conclusion Fraser came up with was yes, the RU-486 abortion pill should be available to women in the U.S., and for plenty of reasons. For example, if mifepristone becomes available, it will remove political and practical barriers so women can get abortions and physicians will not have to perform complete abortions. Also, 54% of all…

In the article Is College Worth It? Clearly, New Data Say by The New York Times explains that college is more valuable then it was before. It explains how college graduates are feeling more overqualified for the job that they do. Due to the fact that they are getting paid as much as with a degree that they had. It also explains that college graduates who actually graduate with a four-year degree are going to get paid more salary-wise then they did before many years ago. One of the major downfalls was that they aren't getting paid the wages that they should be. Therefore I believe that pursuing a college career and attending university is worth it because you have the opportunity to expand your education, you'll eventually be paid more than…

I do not think that colleges have moral obligations to help students become ethical individuals because for one, there are a lot of people who attend college from different backgrounds, and with that comes different upbringings. I believe that colleges don't teach ethical morals because it would contradict what was taught to the student by their family, friends, and other social and religious influences. I also believe that colleges don't teach ethical morals because there are a lot of careers that require for you to have no type of emotional attachment in your field of work. For example, you're a licensed doctor, and for the first time, a small child dies…
