As mention about empirical on cross culture management topic, I will tell my own experience that can a good sample to know about culture. I chose Singapore as a destination for my education. I have some experiences about difference language and culture that make me feel interested in the new environment. Firstly, the communication part is that really important. When I was studying English to prepare for oversea, I studied in RMIT Vietnam. My teacher taught Australian English and I also pronounced like Australian when I talked with other people. The Australian speak very strong and always abbreviated words then add “o” or “ie” at the back like “bring your cossie to the barbie this Arvo”. However, I really like to watch American movies because I’m a fan of Angelia Jolie. The voice of American is so sweet and the action when they talk really professional with me.
