During a shortage of a SECNY Fitness Center supervisor and in between his demanding collateral duties, CSC Espinoza developed a systematic plan to renovate and bring SECNY Gym to Coast Guard standards. Using his workforce CSC Espinoza was able to upgrade the material condition of the facility and save more than $30k in contracted painting expenses. His guidance was pivotal creating a better work practices system, a new SOP and an efficient Gym personal qualifications standard for more than 25 duty members.
