Corporate Social Responsibility or also known as CSR is one way of how companies express their social responsibility. It is also a way of a company to create an impact on the society by handling a business process. But is CSR really necessary and do companies gain from it? Another company that provides CSR is the Jollibee Food Corp. with the CSR mechanism Jollibee Foundation. The said company provides housing and community development. In result to this, many people are given a new house and a good environment to live in which people are happy and contented.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not only for those big companies but also for small companies. A company named Do-an’s Native Craft had pledged a donation to a blind girl in the NGO. It may not be as big as the contribution of Jollibee Food Corp or ABS-CBN but in its own little way, Do-an’s Native Craft expressed its social responsibility.
