PETITION for Commencement Participation May 2013
In order for the petition to be considered students must meet the following criteria:
• An Official Fall 2013 graduation application + fee payment must be on file in the Office of the Registrar no later than April 5, 2013.
• No more than two (2) required courses remaining for Fall 2013 in order to complete degree.
Only students who meet the above criteria, should fill out the bottom portion of this form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar for review no later than 5pm on April 5, 2013.
Petitions will be reviewed/verified at the end of April 2013 and each student will be notified of the final decision on their request via campus e-mail by May 1, 2013. The official list of students approved to ‘walk’ will be submitted to the commencement committee so that the eligible students can receive e-mail updates regarding the ceremony.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Students approved to participate by petition might see their name in the May 2013 commencement booklet.
• Up to (5) Commencement ‘guest tickets’ will be available for students whose petition
