Curb Your Enthusiasm Analysis
The Larry David comedy that last aired an original episode in 2011 is set to

return after years of tentative "we'll sees" from both the creator and the

network, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ will indeed return to HBO. The network

announced a ninth season for the beloved comedy series on 14th June.

Although a formal return date has not yet been disclosed.

Curb Your Enthusiasm last aired in September 2011, and in nearly a five-year

gap since then, neither HBO nor David were ready to publicly dismiss the idea

of reconsidering the show. On the network’s end, former programming

president Michael Lombardo said he was "cautiously optimistic" about more

total of 80 episodes have aired till date, the biggest breaks between seasons

was between the third and fourth and then the seventh and eighth season of

the show.

David has very much been a part of HBO. His largest gig since the last season of

Curb was the 2013 HBO Film Clear History, which he himself wrote and also

starred in.

It's a welcome bit of good news for HBO. The network, which has seen its

teams change in between a string of mediocre launches, has a very little

number of new series premiering in 2016. Sarah Jessica Parker starrer Divorce,

web adaptation High Maintenance and Issa Rae's Insecure are all slated for

release this year, with Danny McBride's Vice Principals being the next one in

July.

Over its long, unusual run, Curb has recieved 39 Emmy nominations but has

managed to win only two (for directing and editing). The last season was one

of its most popular, pulling in more than 2 million viewers for an

If I could be in any movie, I would be in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The movie is about Ferris Bueller, a troublemaking senior in high school, who skips school for a day with his girlfriend, Sloane, and best friend, Cameron. On their day off, they explore downtown while escaping getting caught, fooling people into thinking he’s very sick. I would be in this movie because it would be very fun to get out of school for a day and go downtown with friends. With all of the hard work we have to do in school, I think having a day off would be an adventurous, relaxing, enjoyable break. Additionally, Ferris and his friends visit many tourist attractions and locations on their trip, including the skydeck of the Sears Tower, Wrigley Field, and the Art Institute.…

His parents are nice and caring people who would never think that their son would lie and believe his horrible sick acting. He also gets his friend Cameron, who actually is sick, to join him and Sloan for a day in Chicago before they go off to different colleges. Despite the North having more production and population, the South could have won the Civil War with a few adjustments. Notice how the South’s largest production is cotton, compared to the North. The North had a balance of different types of production, which enabled the soldiers to be easily equipped with materials and accumulate wealth. One of the major reasons why the South lost was that it spent more on cotton production instead of increasing the other types of production. If it spent more on the different types, it could have won. The South depended heavily on agricultural type of labor, through the use of slaves. The slave owners did not free the slaves, since they were needed to cultivate the cotton to raise profit for the owners. Moreover,…

    Fed Up Movie Analysis

The film “Fed Up”, produced by Katie Couric and Laurie David, was an interesting and informative film about the dangers of sugar consumption and its contribution to obesity. The strengths of the film were that they gave examples of two major changes that the food industry made to try and save themselves instead of putting the people’s best interest first. Therefore, the American Academy of Family Physicians teamed up with coca cola to say that soft drinks had nothing to do with obesity, when science showed otherwise, while 20 doctors that helped make up the association publicly resigned. Then came the McGovern report in 1977 that issued the first dietary goals, stating that the American diet was overly rich in fatty meats, rich in saturated fats and cholesterol, and rich in sugar,…

The 16th episode of season 29 of Saturday Night Live welcomed the presidential hopeful Donald Trump to host the show. The sold-out performance received copious amounts of criticism from a variety of pro-immigrant, hispanic and other minority organizations. Despite the speculation, the show went on, and Trump was warmly welcomed onto the SNL stage. Despite their host, the show did not hold off in making fun of the guest. Saturday Night Live was adequately funny and witty as usual, though I do not believe that the host contributed to their success.…

In analyzing 12 Angry Men the first theory that came to mind is the Universal Theory of Leadership. The theory is defined as the belief that certain personal characteristics and skills contribute to leadership effectiveness in many situations. This shows true with Juror #8. Juror #8 was the architect who emerged as a real effective leader. The architect showed self-confidence and assertiveness. He convinced the jury that once all thought the young man was guilty to believing he was innocent due to the lack of proof and questionable assumptions. He showed himself as respectable, knowledgeable, and authentic. The architect rose question as to whether or not the circumstances could be possible by re-enacting the situation. He challenged the process completely by doing this. He was also a leader of integrity because he was loyal to rational principles, practiced what he preached, and did this regardless of the social pressure from fellow jurors’. With these characteristic traits the architect proves to be an charismatic and effective leader.…
