Nasrin Ejner: Presented with Bharat Gaurav award by the Indian International Friendship
Society
Social worker, Nasrin Ejner has been presented with the Bharat Gaurav award by the Indian
International Friendship Society (IIIFS). The award was given to her on January 16, 2015 for tirelessly working towards strengthening the ties between India and Kuwait, for many years now. The International Friendship Society has been presenting the Bharat Gaurav Award to the
NRIs for their contribution in social work. It was started in 1977.
Vinod Mehta conferred with Yash Bharti Award by the government of Uttar Pradesh
The acclaimed Journalist Vinod Mehta on February 9, 2015 was awarded the Yash Bharti
Samman 2015 by the government of Uttar Pradesh. The award was given by the Chief
Minister Akhilesh Yadav to Mehta's family as he could not attend the function due to a medical problem. This award is given by the UP government for excellence in literature, fine arts, folks, sports and classical music.
