The organization that I will be using to create an ethical organization profile will be Kudler Fine Foods. Kuddler provides the finest wines and food in three different locations also offers many delicious and different ingredients from around the world, a bakery, meat & seafood, produce, cheese & dairy and wine. Kathy Kudler is the creator of the gourmet food shop; her vision was much more than opening a simple food shop. The success of Kuddler’s shop is because of the many characteristics that her shop offers, for example providing a great variety of fresh food with no conservatives, great prices and the great customer service Kiddler and her employees offer and like any other business Kudler Fine Foods faces ethical issues that will be discuss further in this paper.
The Bakery
The bakery is inspired by a European touch, the bakers start preparing the dough early in the morning baking different fresh breads and pastries including fruit tarts, table loaves, flat bread and the flakiest croissants in Southern California. The breads and pastries are made from old world recipes and the finest ingredients – Irish butter, organic eggs and unbleached flour, and most important is that the bakery ingredients do not contain preservatives. Kudler’s bakery holds a slogan that states “if you aren’t satisfy that our baked goods are among the best you have tasted, your purchased is free!” (2007, Apollo)
Meat and Sea Food
The meat and seafood are procured from certified organic producers and are always fresh and prepared in the store for the client. Some of the meats that the store carries are: Dry, aged beef * A variety of poultry including turkey, duck, pheasant, quail and chicken * Lamb * Home-made sausages – made without preservatives * A wide variety of local seafood * Live lobsters (2007, Apollo)
Produce
