WHY STUDY LITERATURE?
To develop and sharpen analytical skills
Literature lends itself to creativity
The study of literature will help you to move from one realm to the next--- From the literal to the symbolic and figurative
Literature lends itself to expression
To turn things inside out, draw inferences and make conclusions
The study of literature helps you to look beyond the periphery
In reality no one can be single minded. This is limiting to the creativity and dynamism of the human element. Studying LITERATURE demolishes this limitation.
All in all the study of literature broadens the perspective of the individual.
To be LESS boring and MORE explorative
Literature is just plain FUN!!!
