2.1 Explain how children and young people development is influenced by a range of personal factors.
After birth there are various aspects in which a child's development these include :

Health status - A combination of genetics and other factorsppnpp can affect a child or young persons health. Conditions such a cystic fibrosis, sickle cell diabetes have automatic impact. Problems such as colds or viruses also have a affect. Missing school due to ill health or attending but not having energy to cooperate or participate in tasks.

Disability- conditions such as spina bifilar and cerebral palsy have a physical effect on children and their development. Physical disabilities can put a child at a disadvantage in many ways, they will find it difficult to join in with activities such as sport also writing , drawing and bricks, not being able to do these may result in a child losing there confidence and wanting to communicate or cooperate with adults or peers.

Sensory impairment visual or hearing- A child with hearing problems development may be affected as there speech and communication could be affected, they may feel that they can't join in with other children. Visual impairments will affect development to as children watch and learn from others. In a new environment like school they may struggle learning there way around. Each area of learning is co-dependant on others so a child with a disability could have delays in most aspects of development. Having extra support in classes will help minimise this.

2.2 Explain how children and young people's development is influenced by a range of external factors.

Poverty and deprivation - this can cause stress for families, worries about having food to eat, clothes to wear, etc this can affect there mental and physical health, but also there self esteem, and respect in there self. It's shown statically that children from poorer background tend to perform less than a child from a better background, for example a
