Who wrote the curriculum framework and when was it first published?
The Early Years foundation stage was first published in 2007(DfES 2007). It was produced by the Department of Education. There was not one person that wrote the document but a committee of people

The framework is aimed at all Early Years professionals. Teachers, Early Years Practitioners, Child Centres and Child-minders. ‘The EYFS sets the standards that all early years providers must …show more content…
For Example 3.66 talks about implementing Equal Opportunities, making sure that everybody is treated the same including those with Special Educational Needs or disabilities. 3.6 makes sure that staff fully understand the safeguarding policy and what actions to take if necessary. 3.20 provide the opportunity for Supervision – a way to allow staff to discuss any issues and receive any coaching that is needed. 3.18 encourages with staff training and support. This has influenced my practice as I am now trained in Paediatric First Aid resuscitation; which makes me more confident in my day to day role. 3.67 sets out how information must be shared with parents and other professionals.
