1.3 explain the importance of using correct grammar, sentence structure, punctuation and conventions in business communication. using all of these correctly is very important in business communications, and this will determine the impression the reader gets of the business. for example, if the all of the above are not adequate the reader may assume we do not have the right knowledge which can be seen as unprofessional. This also means that the structure has to be right too, otherwise the reader may get the same impression. Therefore its important to to ensure all of these are correct to maintain a positive reputation.

Warning colleagues of problems arising is very important in a business, this is because informing staff will enable them to fix the problem as soon as possible, reducing the impact it has on the business. The problems can be fixed before they get out of hand, and whilst they are still managable, making it a lot easier to fix the problem in a professional manner.
1.2 - why data reported in different ways
Data can be presented in a number of ways, this is to make it easier and more interesting for whoever is looking at the data, for example its easier to show somebody a location on a map than to describe it in words, and this is the same with data. Certain data will be better expressed in words, but other data may only be understandable in a chart or graph format, so its important to consider which way the data is presented, so the reader is more capable of understanding it.
