Marketing I intend to market my childcare business in the following ways.
* I will register with various online sites including childcare.co.uk and asksid ( Sheffield information link.) Providing them with relevant details of my service including working hours, rates, that it’s a playbased service, and which playgroups I attend.
*I will design an eyecatching ,colourful poster that I will use to advertise my business in local shops, playgroups and nurseries. I will include contact information as well as a list of my services and the relevant rates. I will also include testimonials and a link to my website.
* I will create a website which allows parents to access my services, rates , policies and procedures and testimonials as well as a section which tells them about myself and my setting and …show more content…
*I will network at playgroups and make sure people are aware that I am becoming a childminder and would be willing to discuss their needs.
• I will have a business card printed with contact details and a link to my website and gave them people who want to contact me or use them on pinboards as advertising.
Financial planning.
I need to consider the following outgoings for my business and then I will have to ensure that I set my rates at a level that will cover the above as well as generate some profit, baring in mind the local costs that others charge.
1. Set up costs( course fees, first aid course fees, insurance, equipment required= first aid kits , fire blankets, fridge thermometers, CRB checks for myself and adults who live at my setting.)
2. Utilities.

4. Food /snacks.
5. Travel, bus fares, entrance fees
