Deborah is seen to have made some offensive remarks about Melinda to other staff in the company through the use of strong critics that she is an egotistical slave-driver with no respect for the people who are being supervised this is because of the lack of freedom to do things the way she likes doing it. Although these things she enjoys doing are selfish in nature and are seen to be unproductive at work. She enjoys having two hours break instead of an hour as stipulated by the company. Not only that she comes to work often time an hour after the normal time and leaves the work an hour before the closing time on the excuse of taking kids early in their schools. She felt threatened that she may not enjoy the freedom anymore more importantly that Melinda’s office will be supervising her office. She doesn’t want to relinquish her selfish attitude…
Operation Ceasefire was composed of two fundamentals. First the operation was established to have a direct attack on gun that are being illegally transported. It wanted to put a stop on the traffickers who were supplying guns to the juveniles. In addition, it wanted the local, federal and state agencies to focus on guns illegally being transported within the states boundaries and not just on guns coming in from adjacent states. This operation brought attention to the types of guns the gang members used more often. Furthermore, Operation Ceasefire wanted to provide help to determine the serial numbers of those guns that had been seized with a demolished code. They hoped that determining these serial numbers investigators have a greater possibility to locate traffickers (National Institution of Justice, 2001, pp. 1-2)…

Dear diary, my mom just told me that the war between the allies (America, Britain, USSR, and France) and Germany and Italy had ended finally but the war between the allies and Japan hasn't really ended. I wish we all can get along, and not fight. I just hope I can forget all about this when my birthday comes.…
Like in any “what if” scenario, nobody knows exactly what would have happened if D-Day at Normandy in World War II had failed. Stephen E. Ambrose attempts to wrap readers’ minds around the idea in his article D Day Fails. One of the most surprising aspects of a D-Day failure is that it still does not necessarily result in a Nazi victory. Moreover, the failure of the attack on Normandy would bring up a Soviet Union victory or, even worse, a time where there is a completely communist Europe. A D-Day failure would have drastically altered the U.S. Pacific campaign, and even would have halted, or at least redirected, the dropping of the atomic bomb.…
Unfortunate for Japanese Americans, were the events of Pearl Harbor, an act that defined the fate of thousands of U.S. citizens of Japanese ancestry. The “white man” once again felt a need to put blame on a group of people, belittling them and forcing them into seclusion. Despite efforts by Ranking Officers in Hawaii to inform the Government that there was no reason to believe that Japanese Americans were involved in any sabotage, President Roosevelt signed the order to direct the Secretary of War “to prescribe military areas” in which, “the right of any person to enter, remain in, or leave shall be subject to whatever restrictions…

Another child that I work with who has severe autism this child has a behaviour chart to promote positive behaviour this involves 3 pieces of independent/adult led work they do, they will receive three smiley’s on there chart this will then praise the said child and the child will then get some time on the schools IPAD. If negative behaviour is shown the said child will have a weighted blanket put on and taken to the thinking area in the classroom this is how we are trying to help the said child to recognise there aggressive behaviour before it starts. Myself, Class TA, Mid Day Supervisor and Class teacher follow certain guidelines for that child so it’s consistent. It is better to have original and authentic ideas, rather than to mirror someone else and hide in their shadow of greatness. Ideas can come from anywhere, they can be about anything and the ideas of The Wednesday Wars is the concept of architecture. Architectural plans in the novel are made for the new school and are treated like an ancient treasure locked away, too important for anyone to see and Mr. Hoodhood makes sure the plans stay in secrecy. But when Mr. Hoodhood’s son, Holling unlocks the treasure and reveals the futuristic blueprints of his father to his friend, who happens to be the daughter of competing architect, Mr. Kowalski. His plans then spread like gooey peanut butter on warm toast and Mr. Kowalski inserts these plans into…

Wendy, the supervisor, has been in her position for the last 5 or 6 month. She heard the previous supervisor was “pretty strict”; the cause of Darla’s behavior might be the former supervisor. It seems like Darla is afraid of making mistakes, maybe the previous supervisor was harsh on her when she made a mistake. Or, perhaps the previous supervisor was a micromanager that wanted to be informed of every step of her work because Wendy states that Darla “won’t go ahead” and do stuff “unless I say so.” Another reason for Darla’s behavior might be, she does not have enough confidence in herself because Wendy said, “her work is all right” and “it seems like she does know” how to do the stuff. However, she relies on Wendy to tell her when to do it and “what to do next.”…
There are many important factors concerning the D-Day attack during World War II made by the Allies of the invasion in Normandy. When Hitler seized the western part of Europe in 1941, the Allies decided that France was the starting factor to invade the German Nazi front and change the tide of war while the Red army attacked from the east. To stop Hitler from advancing, Churchill and F.D.R. proposed to strike the German forces. Their proposal created an outbreak through devious and enduring plans revolving around the capture of occupied France including those such as “Operation Fortitude” and “Operation Overlord”. Many strategies had to be coordinated to allow for this mission to be a successful attack.…
