I got a 4 for this internal assessment

Introduction
The general design of the experiment was to use method of loci and a controlled group. As well to measure the rate of forgetting, using recall memory tasks after 1 week. They were given instructions in their group. The experiment is a replicating of Lowell D. Groninger’s Mnemonic imagery and forgetting. The original experiment took place in the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Baltimore, Md. 21228. One group was given a 25-word list of high-imagery words to learn using a mnemonic imagery technique (the method of loci). NA = 10 NB = 12

In group A, 1 answered 9 correct, 1 answered 13 correct, 1 answered 23 correct, 1 answered 24 correct and 6 answered 25 correct.

RA = 1 + 2.5 + 6 + 8.5 + (6 x 16.5) = 117

In group B, 1 answered 13 correct, 1 answered 16 correct, 1 answered 18 correct, 3 answered 24 correct and 6 answered 25 correct.

RB = 2.5 + 4 + 5 + (3 x 8.5) + (6 x 16.5) = 136

UA = NA x NB + NA (NA + 1) - RA 2

UA = 10 x 12 + 10 (10 +1) – 117 = 58 2

UB = NA x NB + NB (NB + 1) – RB 2

UB = 10 x 12 + 12 (12 +1) – 136 = 62 2

U = 58 ≤ critical value 29
