Dr. Sproul Jr. writes how there is simple thought mistake that all people make when they encounter debt. That thought is that what we buy or consume today will we will produce tomorrow. That tells us not to assume anything about the future and by thinking that we will are able to produce tomorrow what we consume today is not good. The Bible clearly states that we should be taking care of the poor and the needy, but as Christians we should be encouraging the poor and help the poor to get jobs and get new lives by going in the work force. The Bible states equity, which is fairness, justice and impartiality whereas Socialism calls for equality which is likeness, evenness and uniformity. Each man should have the same fair opportunity to make money, but an individual should not have their wealth that they worked for given to those you don’t have as much.
