Dame Jane Goodall is a very successful zoologist in the way she studies chimpanzees. Her work has been long-term, officially starting on July 14th, in the 1960s when she set up a camp to live in. The Jane Goodall Institute for Wildlife Research, Education and Conservation was founded in 1977. The work started out continuing research on wild chimpanzees, but has now expanded to getting people involved to keep the environment clean and safe for all living creatures and plants. There are 19 Goodall Institute offices around the world as of this writing.
