I am David Shane Dobyns, twenty-two years of age; I was born in Puyallup, Washington August 17th 1994 at Good Samaritan hospital. My family consists of my mother, father, and brother. Growing up was as idyllic as one would suspect. In my pre-pubescent years we moved several times bouncing from Oregon to Washington in search of “gods’ plan” for us, finally starting a church of our own in Lubbock, Texas. The church siphoned our time and money to the brink of poverty. Through the eyes of a jaded 5-year-old, everything was but a perfect utopia, neither a problem nor a care in the world. Mother was a stay at home at the wife, dictated by the church, whilst father worked odd jobs donating what blood and platelets he could muster that week to pay…

The jeremiad come form the second generation of Puritans, jeremiad comes from the Old Testament books of Jeremiah and Isaiah. Jeremiad is define, as good people will happen good things and bad people will happen bad things to them, we can relate it to as karma. Puritans culture was all about God, they had a plain style, for example, their churches didn't have glass windows, color, and fancy furnitures, because they didn't want to be distracted. Jeremiad fits in their culture, because they believed that they would go to heaven, if they follow their rules and anyone that wasn't a Puritan wouldn't go to heaven, but to hell. They wanted to be in the election, have their own spot in heaven.…

Is your first decision for the majority or for political reasons? Well Lyndon B. Johnson was for the majority of the people. This decision was to sign the Civil Rights act of 1964 and to free the people who have been through all of it. The main question people asked was; Why did L.B.J. approve of the Civil Rights Act of 1964? The people who were going through all of this of course knew Johnson did it for them. These people were from the North, where they began to settle for peace. On the other hand, in the South people were against the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The South was for segregation and believed in the worst about the people who were not them. This one choice…
