When I engage in a community service project, I have the mindset to put my whole heart in it, making the most out of the experience. Through the values and ethics I have attained through FFA, I will continue to serve my community and world with my whole heart throughout my life. If I were selected to receive the Samsung American Legion Scholarship, I would use the money to further my education focusing in the subject of Agriculture. This scholarship would inspire…

I should be considered for the HEBF scholarship due to my hard work and determination; not just in playing sports, but for improvement. Whether it be soccer, volleyball, or track and field, I have never given up when presented with a challenge. I rather look at it as an opportunity for growth, something that can, not only strengthen my physical skills but my collaborative skills as well. Something that I have learned from participating in sports is coming up with ways to overcome obstacles and to keep trying. That means pushing myself to the limit and overpowering boundaries. The experience from participating in each sport have somewhat in some shape and form, taught me the importance of being a leader and working to together. These skills…

In high school I worked for organizations such as Heroes and Cool Kids and Tilly’s Kids. Heroes and Cool Kids is designed for older people like me to empower young children to live a life as leaders. The organization Tilly’s Kids, also provided charity in the form of gifts and clothes during our Christmas VIsit. In college I joined the fraternity Pi Kappa Phi. Through this organization I have been able to support our yet another philanthropy the Ability Experience. This program is Pi Kappa Phi’s national philanthropy…
