When you have such a great passion for something, you know exactly what to say about it. That’s why I chose the poem called “Dance”. The author is Paul Hayward and he seems to have a passion for not only writing but dance. I really just get what he is saying; It just makes sense to me. This poem is just so meaningful in my eyes. The author just describes everything so thoroughly and everything has a purpose. The way he explains feelings is very similar to how my team and I feel before we perform. The line that says, “Smile as long as the day is,” reminds me of how the team can laugh with each other and have fun times.
