Dance Dancer Analysis
I have trained as a dancer since I was 5 years old. I was a recreational student at Gayton Dance Studio for 7 years. I took hip-hop, jazz, turns leaps and extensions, ballet and production for the 7 years I attended Gayton. Then I left Gayton to go and attend Artistic Fusion Dance Academy. As of right now I’ve been with AFDA for 2 years, and I train in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and poms. I am also on the competition team at Artistic Fusion.
Outside of dance, during school I am involved in orchestra, and outside of school I volunteer at food banks and the police department during the holidays, and I teach dance classes at the Boys and Girls Club twice a week. My job at the Boys and Girls Club is to be a choreographer, event planned and director. I believe that it is important to be well rounded and give back to the community, I also love to share all my knowledge in dance and I am hoping to give all my students a full dancers experience without a cost. I am a very driven, well rounded, determined, unique and outgoing person. I will be a great asset to the Horizon Poms team because as an individual I feel that because of all the things I do outside of dance one thing that sets me apart from other dancers is that I have experienced so many amazing eye opening things that not just …show more content…
Alongside with proper dance training and technique I believe that these traits are crucial for the team. I will put in every bit of effort into each and every practice and performance and I will also put in effort to practice skills I may not have mastered outside of poms practice and I will put energy and apply my performance skills while performing.
As a person I offer a positive attitude, a good teammate that won't let the team down by missing practice or performances, I will be a good role model/ leader, I will be a positive influence, I will dance with a purpose, and promote school
