Danger Spotting And Destructive Behavior Analysis

Today’s group session was focused on learning how to recognize situations that could trigger substance use or return to old destructive behavior. Group members also learned how to maintain their focus when they are distracted.
PO was on time and engaged well in the group activity. PO role played several personalized high-risk situations, demonstrated a good understanding of danger spotting and focusing skills. PO shared openly with peers about how to apply danger spotting skills on a daily basis to avoid unnecessary negative consequences and focus on treatment and recovery. PO continues to show resiliency and strength to abstain from substance use, and appears to be able to handle challenges, problems, and stressors without resorting
to old addictive behavior.
