I agree that there are hunters and hunted in life.
Rainsford, Zaroff and Whitney were all hunters in the movie at one point. Rainsford is a big game hunter just like whitney but, whitney thinks animals don't have feelings. Zaroff and whitney are almost the same except Zaroof plays a game with his “victims” and hunts people. The object of the game is not to get shot or captured. Just like me Rainsford was also being hunted by Zaroff in the end. “Rainsford held his breath, the general's eyes had left the ground and were traveling inch by inch up the tree. Rainsford also escaped Zaroff just like me. Rainsford was the hunted in the story.
The story is very suspenseful. In The story the “Dangerous game”, you never know what's going to happen next. In the story Rainsford was being hunted but you would never know where Zaroff was or when Zaroff would shoot. Rainsford can also relate to that because he never knew where he would want go next. “Somewhere is a large island said Whitney it's rather a mystery”.
