Dangers Of Under Age Drinking

Are you too old to trick or treat? Well is some parts of the U.S. thinks so. New laws are coming into place to put an age limit on trick or treaters. Setting an age restriction for trick or treaters is causing an influx of teens doing unfavorable actions, also allowing the local government to have a great deal of power over the religious beliefs of others.
With these laws in place to ban trick or treating for ages 17 and higher more teens are out later and drinking more. Under age drinking is a risk factor that has appeared because of the age ban. The local government is becoming too involved with religious beliefs such as trick or treating. Putting an age limit is taking the religious freedoms of teens in that local area. In one city
in Canada they put an age limit of 16 and younger. If these teens were caught trick or treating above the age of 16 they would be fine with two hundred dollars for what exercising beliefs. These laws are causing more crime than stopping any or if at all, by teens just wanting to express their faith. The local government should be focused on schools and community improvement, however the government is more focused on limiting the age of trick or treaters.The teens that this law affects are not able to change it; Laws like these hinder the freedom of many teens all over the world .
Trick or Treating should not have an age limit for reasons such as teens doing worst activities and government should not intertwine with religious beliefs that the citizens practice.
