After gaining their independence from Spain, Cuba became a country/Island ruled by dictators. Fidel Castro was able to overthrow the government and made the former dictator of Cuba Fulgencio Batista fled from his dictatorship position. Fidel organized a campaign against Batista, he also used trained for Guerilla warfare and was able to grow so large that his forces outnumbered Batista's forces, which led to Batista’s defeat. After the defeat, Fidel Castro became the dictator of Cuba and was also the hope for Cuba, mostly the lower classes. But the Cubans in the United States thought otherwise, especially the once in Florida and Miami. will they stay as a communist/socialist state? These are the important question now for the future of my country. Cuba is already a strong nation. We might be a really small island, but we have a very big influence around the world. We are respected to a certain level around the world, and now that a catastrophic event like the death of Fidel Castro, we shouldn't just sit around crying for his death all day and we also shouldn't carry the flag and rejoice all day. I think we take the little opportunity that we have and take a big step toward the growth of our country. We should do the things that we never had the opportunity to do, like changing this country from a communist state to a capitalist state. We should have our own private business and we should trade with other private businesses around the world, we build creative and innovative minds that will be strong enough to strengthen our broken economy. The old system obviously didn't work, we can see it just by walking outside of our door, we see so many people in poverty. We need to change that and i think the first step that we should take is to build a relationship with other capitalist nations and we should grow
