Hero Research Paper The term hero is used for many different reasons. A hero can sometimes be someone who protects the community and save lives such as policemen. A hero can also be someone in the military who risk their lives to fight for our country. Another hero could be someone who saves their team from losing in a sports match or someone who just helps the community and is a selfless individual. A hero is really someone who does greater than what they are expected to do and decides to hurt themselves until they physically or mentally go any further to make a difference in the world. The term hero does not just come to someone because they do something benevolent to the community or someone else. The term hero is something that one has to earn by pushing oneself over the limit. Daoud Hari is a prime example of a hero because he went where no other man in Darfur was willing to go. Another example of a hero is Martin Luther King Jr. because he surpassed what was expected of him and eventually died because of helping the world for a better place. Martin Luther King helped the world to not judge people by the color of their skin. Martin Luther King did not need to do this at all, but because of him doing something to change the world for a better place
Samuels 2 he did. He earned the term hero because despite the tough times he endured throughout his life he kept on going and he eventually won the Nobel Peace Prize. Daoud Hari and Martin Luther King both earned their titles as heroes because they took action and did not worry about risking their own lives.
After Daoud saw what people were going through and children being murdered in the street he took action to get the word out of what was happening in Darfur.
