“You tell me Darnell.” I know I’m sparking up an argument, but I finally get the courage to say he’s real name. The name Darnell sound so new to me. It feels as though he was now a stranger to me. Eli stiffens hard, and he’s hand form into a fist. His eyebrows shot up in shock as if I said I was a man and not a woman. Eli lips tighten and he shake he’s head ready to say something.

I knew my brother was into the world that I’m in now. He was first to get into the trap world, he never let me touch anything that he brought home. I never question it, because he helped paid my school and the bills. You can say he took the role of our father.
