In 1911 a man named Charles Walcott came across a rich trove of middle Cambrian-era fossils. His wives horse flipped over a rock as it slip of the trail leading Walcott to discover a outline of what was once a animal . He gathered a team to find some more of these rocks, but the expedition was cut short due to the winter weather. Walcott and his team assembled in the late spring and successfully Him and His team was able to uncover over 65,000 of these rocks with outlines of newly discovered specimens.Looking over these sample scientist were able to note different and similar characteristic from each rock they found, puting similar ones into groups and naming them . Sketch artist came and drew pictures of what these animals would have looked like if they were still around.Stephen Meyers references details of the Cambrian explosion in the book Darwin's Doubt. Meyers says it's one of the most incredible scientific discovery to help discover different species intelligent form and how organisms have changed over the years. “Agassiz concluded that the fossil record, particularly the record of the explosion of Cambrian animal life, posed an insuperable difficulty for Darwin's theory,”-Stephen C. Meyer . Scient believe that these fossils were living millions of years ago , but Meyer believes that these fossils were alive …show more content…
Meyer gives insight on the first discovery of fossils and how the sudden appearance of these unique animal life supports the theory of intelligent design to be the best explanation about the origin of the Cambrian animal and the biological input to produce them. All though Darwin's Theory and belief of Intelligent Design have great point on the origin of life and the changes of organisms through the years, I do believe in Intelligent Design but more specifically I believe that all organisms on this earth were originally created and designed specifically by God , each organism has a specific trait to help them
