LIST OF STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES
There are various sampling techniques available for market research, but we selected the following for our analysis:
1. Chi-square – It is useful in analysing cross tabulations of the survey data. Since it can tell us whether there is a statistical difference between the segments in how they answered the question
2. Correlation – It can show whether and how strongly pairs of variables are related; mostly used with rating scales.
3. Cross Tabs – It compares specific demographics (such as gender, or height) to other specific information (such as the people’s favourite color).
4. Graphs – Graphs and charts condense large amounts of information into easy-to-understand formats that clearly and effectively communicate important points.
PURPOSE OF USING THE STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES
1. Graphs – The main purpose behind using graphs are as follows:
To analyze and interpret data.
To be able to represent the data clearly. Using graphs you can easily find out important facts about the data you have collected and use what you know to improve or change something.
