In this particular case we have a problem with an individual named Davis Meany AKA the Lawyer that has been with the company for a good amount of time however he has been a burden to work with due to the fact he can never be told do something without have some kind of input. He uses his contract to get him out of doing work that is being asked for him . When this happens instead of arguing or putting up with his temper the work is just assigned to someone else just so that it gets done without any needed confrontation. That's not all Davis has constantly been arriving to work late taking unnecessary long bathroom breaks and leaves home early and avoids being docked pay and these actions are rubbing of to the employees in and outside the warehouse. …show more content…
Davis poor work ethic or just say what they want to hear and get him hired by the other company and move on without Davis in the company. I can tell the truth and be stuck with Davis until he actually breaks a company rule or I can say he’s a good worker and be done with Davis forever. The outcomes of this scenario include. Davis continues to linger and be a burden and avoid task he is being asked to do and bring the employees down to his level and pick up his bad habits, which could potently harm the company. However telling the other business he’s a good worker will get him out of the picture and be the other industry’s problem the only thing that will be seen as negative will be your personal integrity. The impact on lives this have is my personal life will be easier I will no longer have to work with a lazy sarcastic employee that not only I but the project manger want nothing to do with him. It would relieve working tension and keep the employee in and out the warehouse on …show more content…
It will also affect the other two people that applied for the job Davis applied for however I don't have any knowledge of the others so they don't really contribute to my decision. My values would be questioned between myself and Sajid I told a fib to another manager about a mans work ethics to an extent Davis has is ups and downs it just the fact that my company is fed up with his shenanigans this the only proper way to be rid of this man once and for all he is not needed and not the best suited for his position in my company however maybe being a supervisor is better suited for him. So I believe it is best to tell the personal manger of the store in the city what they want to hear in order to get Davis hired my company no longer wants anything to do with Davis due to his style of work and standing up to higher management and being lazy and a bad influence to the staff at hand. This decision will keep my employees on task and will allow me to higher a man that will do what is being asked of him without any confrontation or setbacks and that seems like the best overall solution for my personal

When Europeans began colonizing in the New World, there was a large amount of work to do and very few workers to get the job done. While there were indentured servants paying their way to America in exchange for work, it was not enough. To solve this problem, Dutch ships began loading Africans against their will onto a boat to be slaves in the New World. This later became known as the Atlantic Slave Trade. After the American Revolution, slavery became less and less profitable especially in the North. Once the cotton gin was invented, more labor to work the fields in the South was needed. This made the American economy dependent upon slavery. There was much debate about the ethics of slavery and many thought it to be wrong. In 1857, the United States Supreme Court case of “Dred Scott v. Sandford” took place that changed America as we know it. This case brought up the issues of slavery and the future of the US. It brought to light the important responsibility politicians have in making important decisions that can affect the future. A…

ETHICAL PROBLEM OR ISSUE The principle of fidelity and my personal moral philosophy would dictate that I should go with Nick Battle and report Rossi’s behavior to management. Rossi’s absences have cost the company significant money and productivity time, which if continues will further negatively impact the security of everyone’s career in the company. Though I am under no obligation to Rossi, I still worry what harm would come to him. Rossi could possibly lose his job or at the very least Rossi’s credibility would be irreversibly damaged making his reputation and morale further diminished within the corporation.…

The Public Prosecution Service v. William Elliot and Robert McKee is a case relating to fingerprint evidence that was ruled inadmissible due to unlawful means of evidence collection. This caused dispute over the validity of the inadmissibility submission by the defence counsel, however, I believe the fingerprint evidence was rightfully dismissed from the court. On October 6th 2007, William Elliot and Robert McKee were arrested for the theft of building materials on the premises of Aluminum & Plastic Systems. The defendants were found in a Ford van parked nearby, but claimed to be in the area innocently. Physical evidence recovered from the van was seized, along with the van itself, for forensic examination.…

It is difficult to predict what results would be obtained by the any of the choices Jasper made (environmental uncertainty), but I think the first step is to think how important Henry is to the company, how willing Jasper is to start looking for someone to replace him and train him, etc. (labor market). He needs to consider Henry’s relationship with customers, and that he might go to work with some competitors, taking all his experience and knowledge. I think he also needs to consider how important the policies in the company (corporate culture) are because whatever he does will set the example to the rest of the people. If Henry means a lot to the company and Jasper does not want to let him go, perhaps some kind of punishment like suspension without being paid for a couple of weeks or something else, and then if it happens again he will be fired, just to send the message to the rest of the employees that anybody can get caught if…
